ART WEDDING IN LE MERIDIEN SEOUL
Le Méridien Seoul presents Art Weddings, inspired by timeless works of art. Six different concepts are reflected in stage design, tablecloths, menu cards, cake and decorations. With VIP service from highly experienced specialist wedding managers and cuisine from star chef Edward Kwon, a wedding at Le Méridien Seoul is truly an event to remember.
THE ONE & ONLY
The One & Only: Joseon painter Kim Hong-do's paintings of flowers and birds, with the beauty of their lines and empty spaces, sing songs of spring. Based on Korean-style aesthetics, this ceremony makes an ideal combination with custom-designed Korean hansik cuisine and traditional hanbok costumes. The result is a wedding as beautiful as a painting on traditional rice paper.
THE STARRY MOMENT
#NAVY #BLACK # WHITE # YELLOW
The Starry Moment: Taking Van Gogh's Starry Night Over the Rhône as its motif, this ceremony uses white and yellow shades against black and navy to evoke the warmth of stars sparkling in the night sky. Dark brown wall curtains are used to create a calm ambience, while decorative candles flicker like starlight.
THE ROMANTIC LOVE
The Romantic Love: With Jean Béraud's The Dance as its motif, this ceremony features point colours of red and gold. The sparkling chandeliers of the Da Vinci Room come together with warm yellow wall fabrics, lighting and golden tableware to create the spectacular and elegant image of an aristocratic mansion. The curtains at the venue entrance create the feel of arriving at a party, while red florals complete the highly distinguished picture.
THE FOREVER AMOUR
The Forever Amour: Inspired by the two lovers, intoxicated by each other in the embrace of a golden aura in Gustav Klimt's The Kiss, this wedding combines a warm ambience orchestrated by the ballroom's ceiling chandeliers and yellow wall fabrics with beige tables to produce an atmosphere of romance. Golden tableware and florals, diverse menu cards and a golden wedding cake maximize the bling factor.
THE NATURE FIESTA
The Nature Fiesta: Taking as its motif The Wedding Meal at Yport by Albert-Auguste Fourie, this ceremony draws on the rich green shades in the background of Fourie's work to convey the hope of creating a happy, cosy family. Florals in shades of greenery, the trending colour of 2017, and white, create a sense of abundance and freshness.
THE WEDDING GARDEN
#WHITE #LAVENDER #GREEN
The Wedding Garden: This ceremony is based on the concept of sending the newly married couple down a pastel-coloured garden path created by Claude Monet, a painter more famous as a gardener in his own time. White tables and exuberant florals conjure the fresh atmosphere of a European secret garden. Sensual shades of lavender, blue and green evoke the beautiful flowers of a garden. Lavender-coloured hydrangeas, a white and green wedding cake and various menu card designs create a particularly gorgeous ceremony.
